Build

Anytime you set yourself to the task of building something opposition will arise. It can come from several different sources; the enemy, friends, family and even ourselves through doubt or fear, what we do when that opposition arises is important. As we continue our series in Nehemiah we find that opposition coming and it will continue until the job is completed, but Nehemiah behaved himself wisely and was steadfast in his goal.

We must prepare for the work we want to do to be attacked, we must then deal wisely with it and be of a made-up mind to complete the work no matter what comes our way. We cannot allow ourselves to be satisfied after God has placed in us a desperation to do His work and provided the means by which to do the work. We then have to do the hard work of actually doing something.
