Build

The people of God should be marked by their generosity. When difficult seasons come, we band together and help each other. We don’t strive and struggle with each other. As we seek to build the kingdom we don’t do so at the expense of others.

The walls progress ceases because in the midst of famine some had taken advantage of others. They mistreated and abused them. When there is oppression, the progress we could be making stops. A life of generosity will counter act our natural tendency to take advantage of others.
