The Extraordinary Out of the Ordinary

When the angel of the Lord great Gideon, he calls him a “mighty man of valour”, but nothing about Gideon showed him to be anything but a man who was afraid. The Lord has to calm him several times and Gideon questions God, but this is the man God will use to pick 300 men to go into battle and win that battle against overwhelming odds.
Maybe we are afraid. Maybe we have been focusing on the wrong things and maybe God is trying to call us into courage, to be intrepid, to be a person of valour. God will supply the victory we just need to say yes. It was not Gideons strategy or understanding the brought victory, it was saying yes to God.
