The Secret Place

Money and possessions are mentioned 2,350 times in scripture. It is a pretty important topic. It might surprise us to learn that the topic is talked about more than even love is. I suspect this is because we are so easily distracted and seduced by money and possessions. They easily sway our heart from the living God. Often it is not the money itself, but it is the fancy house or car. It is the feeling of financial security and the like, but where we put our money first says a lot about what we value.
