Anxious For Nothing

Perfect love casts out fear. When we are rooted and grounded in the love of God, the anxieties from the things of this life should fade into the background. If we are afraid, that is not coming from God. We can be assured of that. So, when we feel anxiety we can start to explore what is the root of it. Have we gotten of track on who we are doing whatever we are feeling anxious about. We can ask ourselves what am I doing this for? Maybe we shouldn’t even being doing it, we took it on, but it wasn’t ours to do. Then lastly, why am I doing this. Did you do it to please someone else, did you hope to gain something?
Dwell in the love of Jesus. God is with us, he is for us and He has overcome this world. If we surrender to Him, rest in Him, find acceptance in Him, then we will find contentment in Him.
