Faith, Love and Hope

We see this as Paul continues his exhortation in this chapter. Boldness does not equate to rudeness or lack of caring. It might be said that biblical boldness is rooted in care and concern for others.
This is what we find Paul telling us when he says that they were “gentle among you”. It is important that we have truth and love when dealing with others. If we are too focused on truth we can find our love for others lacking and focus on a person's failing rather than their progress. On the other hand, we can be so focused on being loving and caring that we let go of the truths that are necessary.
If we are to be effective in imparting faith, love and hope to others we have make the gospel the core of everything we do.
