Privileged People

One of the privileges that God bestows on His people is honor and an innocence in Him. We are not innocent, but in Him we are made innocent with the renewing of our mind. We were created with this idea. When God created man and woman the bible says “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed”. (Genesis 2:25) From the beginning we, mankind, were made in the image of God and there was no shame and no guilt. We see all of that fall apart in Genesis 3, something we will cover in our next series, but sin enters the world and as a result guilt and shame. Through Jesus we have be restored and we are free from the weight of shame.
