Pastor Terrance T. Taylor - Vice President of the International Board of Directors
Duties:
International Elder: As one of the International Elders, Pastor Taylor is responsible for overseeing the spiritual care and daily operations of the entire international ministry. He has a focused oversight of ministry in the United States and Sri Lanka.
Vice President of the International BOD: As Vice President of the International BOD, Pastor Taylor assumes the President's duties in His absence: directing discussions within the Board meetings for the administrative and spiritual wellbeing of the ministry.
Personal History:
Pastor Terrance Taylor was born in Bastrop, Louisiana. He served in the United States Navy from March of 1983 to August of 1990 and was home ported in San Diego, California, where he became a parishioner of Christian Fellowship Ministries in our San Diego congregation. He excelled rapidly in rank from E1 to E5 (Second Class Petty Officer) in less than two and a half years. While in the Navy, he was a Paralegal for 5 years. His determination in the military was driven by his passion for ministry.

He is married to Edna, and has four children, Terreana, Terrance II, Ezekiel, and Elias.
Ministry:
Pastor Taylor has served Christian Fellowship Church Ministries, International, in many different capacities and has faithfully taken on increasing levels of leadership and responsibility. In 1988, he was ordained as an assistant pastor and served in our San Diego congregation for 20 years.
In this capacity, he taught Bible studies, led worship services, provided spiritual counsel and guidance for the parishioners, and assisted in meeting any need brought to him.
In 2008, Pastor Taylor answered the call to move to the church's new headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia, where he was instrumental in maintaining the day-to-day operation of the local congregation and overseeing the spiritual well being of the body of believers. His first task in Norfolk, Virginia, was to take the purchased building which had previously housed the Boys and Girls Club of Northeastern Virginia (which had been unused and dormant for a number of years) and turn it into the headquarters for the International Ministry, and the worship center for the local congregation. Using his organizational skills, he marshaled a force of more than 70 volunteers and completely renovated the entire building, including the installation of an industrial heating and cooling system, painting the entire inside of the building, renovating several offices, landscaping, and installing a new epoxy flooring system.
Building on the momentum from the renovation project, Pastor Taylor continued to build teams and led the day-to-day ministry functions of the local church congregation. This allows greater access into the neighborhoods and a more relaxed atmosphere for those seeking a relationship with God, but who are intimidated by the large institutional buildings and worship settings.
